Our Story

Danka investment limited was established in 1994. The company started by exporting fresh produce to Europe. Over the years, the company has grown in leaps and bounds and is one of the major exporters of fresh produce from Kenya supplying vegetables such us french

At Danka Investments, the Quality of fresh produce is the rock of our business, the vegetables are selected from the finest in the slopes of Mount Kenya where they are grown under supervised and controlled conditions. This ensures our products maintain their natural taste and aroma. Before we dispatch our products for export, they undergo various test to ensure they are safe for consumption.

We are a small yet highly efficient and motivated team. Our effective collaboration makes it possible to meet our ambitious goals. Together, there’s no challenge we can’t overcome.

Our own farms

All our farms are EUREPGAP and Field To Fork accredited.

The farms are all under a high efficiency drip system. In addition, the farms have a production capacity that caters for contract farming to meet agreed quality and quantity products in time

In addition, Danka Investments also subcontracts small scale farmers to supplement the production from the farms. We organise the out growers into syn-ergetic groups which we then support by regular trainings on emerging farming trends, supplying them with inputs on credit and on subsidized prices, technical assistance on safe use of pesticides and environment protection. Our out- growers are closely supervised to ensure that they adhere to the set standards.

All the farms adhere to sound environmental farming practices and are under irrigation thus production is carried out throughout the year in response to the market's demand.

At Danka Investments, having the capacity, we are actively seeking new markets to expand into in order to increase our current volumes.
